A node executes only when all its inputs are available; outputs are produced once it finishes.
Shift register vs feedback node?
Both carry values between loop iterations; a feedback node is a compact form usable without loop borders.
When to use a Functional Global Variable?
To encapsulate shared data with controlled actions and avoid race conditions of global variables.
Explain the Queued Message Handler.
An event loop enqueues messages; a handler loop dequeues and processes them, keeping UI responsive.
What is a race condition and how do you avoid it?
Two operations access shared data in an unpredictable order. Use dataflow, FGVs, DVRs or semaphores.
